Following up on my previous review! I had my second CO2 laser today to open my airway and also received my mouth guard to wear at night to help the mandible move forward to get a bit more space. The first CO2 laser felt like the greatest gift. I had been wearing mouth tape to keep my lips closed at night and even then I wasn’t getting enough oxygen to the brain. Within 3 days of the laser I no longer needed to tape the mouth. Imagine what a relief this was! Had the second one today and look forward to wearing my new device tonight to see what more improvements are here for me. Love working with Dr. Trevedi and team. They clearly care and are amazing at their specialty!

I just finished up a 16 week myofunctional therapy program with Maria and have to say it’s bittersweet. While the exercises and frequency of visits took a lot of effort, it was an awesome experience and the benefits on my breathing, swallowing and even sleep have been life changing. Without exaggeration the CT scans showed a 190% improvement in my airway capacity. Dr. Trivedi is awesome and thorough and offers a level of care that’s unique for dentists I’ve seen. I could not recommend Honest Family Dental more!!! I have had questions for 18 months about my daughters small airways, and after needing to use steroids countless times because of stridor when she is sick, and being directed to eventual surgery or being brushed off by countless doctors, I was validated by Dr. T. He has been working with others to figure out a plan for our daughter and we all now have a plan and are working directly with him. So, I scheduled a filling with Honest Family Dental after transferring my x-rays and treatment plan. Sure enough, Dr. Trivedi showed me on screen and explained why a filling isn’t necessary.
